Senior Restorative Therapies

As we age, it’s natural to face some challenges. From falls to hospital stays or unforeseen emergencies, senior rehabilitation is meant to help you recover and regain your independence. At Harmony Trace, we’re proud to take a comprehensive team approach to our therapy services. You worked hard for your retirement, and we’re here to help ensure that one event doesn’t make a lasting impact on the lifestyle you love.

Senior Rehabilitation from Qualified Professionals

When it comes to your health and wellbeing, we work to deliver a complete solution. Therapy occurs within the resident’s apartment, if deemed necessary by a licensed physical, occupational and/or speech therapist. Therapy sessions normally are scheduled 2 to 3 days per week for 1 hour. Our staff will take the time to get know your needs so we can create a senior rehabilitation program that helps you recover as safely and quickly as possible.

Our therapy professionals work with you to help regain muscle strength, endurance and flexibility. With oversight from your physician, our therapists are involved every step of the way, helping you regain physical and mental abilities lost due to an injury or surgery. • Ultrasound and electrical stimulation
  • Massage and thermal agents

Our occupational therapists work with each resident to re-learn self-care and/or physically adjust to major life changes due to an accident or illness. They help residents re-learn simple daily tasks that are an important part of everyday living. Our therapists provide services to:

  • Increase mobility, improve strength and endurance
  • Prescribe appropriate adaptive equipment to maintain or increase functional independence
  • Increase independence in activities of daily living and related self-care skills (including fabricating and monitoring of orthotic devices)
