COLUMBUS, Ohio — National Church Residences announces updates to its leadership team within the Affordable Housing Management and Housing Development departments. The organization has appointed Donna Walker as vice president of property management, promoted Joe Largey to vice president of housing operations and elevated Sarah Branch to vice president of housing development. These key appointments reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership and furthering its mission to provide affordable housing for those in need.
Walker has more than 25 years of multifamily management experience across a range of housing sectors. Her expertise spans class-A market-rate properties, mixed-use developments, HUD-subsidized housing, senior housing and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) communities. Her proven track record in stabilizing and enhancing the performance of troubled assets will play a key role in the organization’s continued growth.
In her new position, Walker is leading the implementation of affordable housing strategic initiatives, managing day-to-day operations and overseeing the property management leadership team, which includes regional vice presidents and their respective regional leaders. She holds the Housing Credit Certified Professional designation from the National Association of Home Builders and a degree in business administration from Dickinson Business School.
Largey joined National Church Residences nearly three years ago and has since made significant contributions to the organization. His promotion comes after a successful tenure as interim vice president of property management, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and earned the trust of colleagues and staff alike.
With nearly 30 years of experience in affordable housing, property management and asset management, Largey’s new role will include overseeing key functions such as housing processes, housing compliance, maintenance and housing data analytics. His leadership will support the ongoing success and operational goals of the organization’s property management efforts.
“The addition of Donna Walker as vice president of property management and Joe Largey’s well-deserved promotion to vice president of housing operations means a great deal to our affordable housing management team at the corporate office,” said Senior Vice President of Affordable Housing Management, Sonya Brown. “Donna’s experience in property management and her approach to asset performance along with Joe’s knowledge of housing operations and his proven leadership will further advance our mission and drive excellence in affordable housing.”
National Church Residences has also announced the promotion of Branch to vice president of housing development. Branch’s experience in affordable housing development spans more than a decade and includes managing communities across six states. Her leadership has been instrumental in securing financing and navigating the LIHTC program to meet the growing demand for affordable housing in several southern states.
“Sarah Branch’s promotion to vice president of housing development is a well-deserved recognition of her leadership and contributions to our organization, said Senior Vice President of Housing Development and Asset Management, Matt Rule. “Her expertise and commitment will continue to propel our growth and success in creating quality, affordable housing for senior communities across the country. We are excited to see Sarah’s continued leadership in driving our development initiatives forward.”
Before joining National Church Residences, Branch worked in asset management and development, including redeveloping brownfield sites into vibrant, affordable communities in the metro Atlanta area.
