COLUMBUS, Ohio – National Church Residences announces the hiring of Margaret Gibson as the new vice president of marketing and sales. In this position, Gibson will shape occupancy and growth strategies for National Church Residences properties and service divisions, as well as forge strong connections with community partners and industry leaders. She will be based in the organization’s home office in Columbus and began her role on November 20, 2023.
With a diverse background in physical therapy, sports medicine, outpatient orthopedics/neurology, skilled nursing/rehab and home health settings, Gibson has extensive executive experience in multiple senior care environments. “My career has evolved to focus on creating a network of support and resources around our seniors. What drew me to National Church Residences was its solid foundation, having been pioneers in the industry for more than 60 years, combined with an expanded vision for the future to serve even more seniors through their service offerings and housing portfolio.”
Gibson also will be responsible for developing strategy and implementing new initiatives to increase awareness of the National Church Residences brand to all segments of the community. Additionally, she will oversee management and growth of all the organization’s social media channels and digital footprint.
Gibson comes to the organization from Synchrony Health Services, an affiliate of Trilogy Health Services, LLC. During her tenure as a sales leader, she built and nurtured partnerships at the local, regional and corporate levels, helping older adults thrive and age in place through the company’s coordinated pharmacy, rehab and lab services. Prior to her time with Synchrony, Gibson served as vice president of Market Development for Summit Home Care, where she excelled in developing strategic partnerships, creating new markets and establishing vital referral networks – after also supporting Summit as Director of the Assisted and Independent Living Division.
“Margaret’s dedication to helping seniors receive the housing and services they need and deserve is driven by a profound sense of purpose,” said Susan DiMickele, president and CEO of National Church Residences. “I’m delighted to have her join our team of leaders, and know she will be instrumental in advancing our vision of improving the lives of 100,000 seniors by 2030.”
