COLUMBUS, Ohio – National Church Residences Senior Living division announces the hiring of Linda Marshall as the new vice president of operations design. In this position, Marshall will direct day-to-day work of the operations design team, whose goal is to enhance senior living residents’ experiences through streamlined, innovative and improved operations. These operations include health care delivery, culinary services, resident programming, environmental services and technology systems for senior living communities’ independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services.
“My vision for operations design for the senior living division is to provide a clear pathway for seniors as they age,” said Marshall. “My motto when designing functional operational designs is to keep processes simple, practical and reliable. When all three of these ingredients are met, especially in health care operations, then the health care teams can shift the majority of their focus to interacting with the seniors we serve.”
Marshall comes to the organization with more than 25 years of experience spanning independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and home health. Over the course of her career, she has served as an executive in senior living and health care industries. With a focus on process improvement, growth and quality, Marshall has a Master’s in Health Science from Cleveland State University and is a Lean Sigma Certified Green Belt.
“I am so pleased to have Linda at National Church Residences, leading our operations design group,” said Steve Bodkin, senior vice president and chief operating officer of senior living and affordable housing. “She brings a unique skill set that combines functional design experience with leadership, collaboration and teamwork. She has the perfect heart to be part of the National Church Residences family.”
