Bradenton, FL – Water’s Edge of Bradenton, a National Church Residences senior living community, announces the hiring of Delane Duncan-Ward as the new executive director. In this position, Duncan-Ward will direct all day-to-day operations, including budget management, regulatory compliance, marketing activities and staff guidance – all with the well-being and satisfaction of residents in mind.

“We are delighted to welcome Delane to our Water’s Edge of Bradenton family,” said Doug Himes, vice president of senior living at National Church Residences. “She brings a genuine passion for and wealth of knowledge in senior living management to our team.”

Duncan-Ward comes to the organization with more than 30 years in the senior living industry, spanning independent living, assisted living, memory care, behavioral health and skilled nursing. Over the course of her career, she has served as executive director and administrative officer in senior living and health care communities across central Florida.

“I consider it a true honor to be able to share my love, compassion and dedication with the residents of Waters Edge of Bradenton,” said Duncan-Ward.

With a focus on resident satisfaction, well-being and safety, Duncan-Ward holds a Florida Nursing Home Administrator License and an Assisted Living Facility License.
