Jacqueline Kingsbury

National Church Residences is hosting an exclusive exhibit of stunning fashion illustrations by artist and former Bristol Village resident Jacqueline Berce Kingsbury. During her career, Kingsbury’s illustrations appeared in Vogue Magazine and on the packaging of McCall’s and Butterick patterns. Her design and illustration styles are typical of the early 1960s.

Join us for this free exhibition on Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., at Bristol Village, 660 East 5th Street, Waverly, Ohio 45690. Refreshments will be served at the Terrace Cafe and tours of the Glenn Center will be available to visitors.

Not only will visitors to the exhibit get to view these original drawings, they also will get a glimpse into the New York magazine publication and production process in the early sixties. Several fashion design schools and art institutions have offered to archive Kingsbury’s illustrations.

Kingsbury lived at Bristol Village from 2010 – 2019.
