Jeff Copeland is the Chairman of Elford, Inc., one of the largest self-performing general contractors and construction managers in Central Ohio. Formerly the President and CEO of Elford, where he has worked since 1985, Copeland is semi-retired.
A graduate of Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering, Copeland later obtained a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.
He joined the National Church Residences Board of Directors in January 2009.
Professionally, Copeland is affiliated with the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, National Academy of Forensic Engineers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is a professional civil engineer in Ohio and is a registered forensic engineer with experience in more than 60 local, state and national courts.
Copeland’s community involvement has included the Boy Scouts of America, Yokefellows Prison Ministry, Mason, Blendon Lodge 339, Central College Presbyterian Church, Westerville Board of Education, Columbus Rotary, Columbus Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Central Ohio, Workforce Investment Corporation, and the US Chamber of Commerce Mid-Market Group.
